Inviting Family Members or Other Users To Your Hospet Account
Hospet makes it easy to share your account with trusted family members or friends. Whether you’re co-managing a senior pet's care or simply want to keep loved ones in the loop, inviting others is simple and secure.
How to Invite Another User

Click Your Profile Image
Locate your profile image in the upper-right corner of the screen and click it.

Select “Users”
From the dropdown menu, click on “Users.”

Click “Invite User”
You’ll see a button or link labeled “Invite User.” Click it.
Enter the User’s Information
Provide the name and email address of the person you want to invite.
Choose a Role
Select the level of access you’d like them to have:
- Admin – Full access to the account, including billing settings.
- Collaborator – Access to all pet data and features, excluding billing.
- Read Only – Can view pet information but cannot make changes.

Send the Invite
Click “Invite”. The user will receive an email with a link to join your account.
💌 What Happens Next?

The invitee will click the link in their email and set up their own Hospet account (if they don’t already have one).
After signing up, they will have two accounts:
- Their personal account (for pets they manage independently)
- Your shared account, which they can now access
They can switch between these accounts using the "Switch Accounts" links in the main navigation menu.

Can I remove a user later?
Yes, Admin users can manage or remove users from the same “Users” screen.
Can I edit the users role later?
Yes, you can edit the users role at any time.
Will the person I invite see all my data?
That depends on the role you assign. Collaborators can interact with most of your account, while Read Only users have view-only access.
What if they already use Hospet?
That’s fine! When they accept your invite, they’ll gain access to your shared account while still keeping their own.
