Getting Started with Hospet Connect For Providers

Hospet Connect is a free tool for veterinarians, trainers, doulas, hospice teams, and other professionals who want to support their clients through thoughtful, structured pet care—especially during times of change or uncertainty.

Benefits of Signing Up

Hospet Connect helps you stay connected to your clients—without adding to your workload.

  • Streamlined Support Team Access: When you share your referral link, clients can instantly add you to their Hospet support team—even if they already have an account.
  • Automatic Syncing: If you're already listed in their Support Team, your updated name and email will sync automatically across all client accounts.
  • Provider Dashboard: Once your account is activated, you’ll see a “Provider Dashboard” in the main menu, with resources and tools to help you share your referral link.
  • Feature Influence: We're building this platform with providers in mind. You can request future features any time here: https://my.hospet.app/feature-request

Note: Currently, providers do not have access to client data or dashboards. Sharing remains one-way, initiated by the pet owner.


Cost

Hospet Connect is 100% free for providers. There are no subscription fees or charges for signing up or using the platform.


How to Sign Up

You can sign up for a Hospet Connect account in one of two ways:

  • Your business name and details
  • Some form of verification (like a business entity registration or a link to your business website)

Account Activation:

Account approvals are processed manually, but we do our best to review them quickly. You’ll receive an email as soon as your Hospet Connect account is activated.


Already Have a Hospet Account?

If you're already using Hospet for personal tracking (such as veterinarians or doulas using the free Premium benefit), you have two options:

  • Recommended: Create a separate account for Hospet Connect, especially if you use a personal email for your current account.
  • Alternative: If you signed up with your work email or are a sole proprietor, you can activate Hospet Connect from your existing account by clicking “Activate Hospet Connect” in the main navigation.

How the Referral Process Works

Once your account is activated:

  • You’ll gain access to your "Provider Dashboard," which contains your unique referral link
  • Clients who use the link will automatically be guided to add you as part of their Support Team
    • Note that if they do not have a Hospet account, they are taken to the main Hospet website (https://www.hospet.app). Once they decide to create an account it will automatically offer them the option to import you as their support team provider.
    • If they already have an account, and are logged in, they will be taken straight to the provider import page.

Managing Connections

  • Clients can remove you from their Support Team at any time
  • To delete your provider account, just email us at support@hospet.app
